Dr. Aletha Williams

Aletha Williams was born and raised in Montego Bay, Jamaica, and has dedicated her life to service, healing, and creative expression. In 1994, she graduated from the United States Naval Academy with a Bachelor of Science in English and a minor in French. As part of the first group of women authorized to serve aboard Naval Combatant Ships following a groundbreaking 1993 Congressional law, Aletha was a pioneer in military history.

She holds two Master of Science degrees from the Naval Postgraduate School—one in Information Systems Operations and the other in Systems Engineering. Aletha is in the final stages of her PhD in Mind-Body Medicine at Saybrook University, where she specializes in Integrative Wellness. Her certifications include Integrative Wellness Coaching, Biofeedback, and Equine Specialist training through EAGALA and ARCH.

Aletha is the founder of Inner Starr Compass Healing LLC, a business rooted in helping individuals reconnect with their inner wisdom, creativity, and intuition as a path to healing. She brings a wealth of diverse professional experience to her work as an Integrative Medicine Practitioner and Transformational Life Coach. She creates safe, dynamic spaces for personal growth and transformation through retreats, community events, and one-on-one coaching. A passionate muralist, Aletha seeks to bring healing and inspiration to communities through public art and hopes to complete mural projects across the country. She is also the author of Your Golden Years: 101 Ways to Ignite Your Flame, a self-help guide designed to support individuals navigating major life transitions.
