Ian Adelson is a New York City-based director and former associate producer of the award-winning Apple TV+ series, Dickinson.
Adelson directs and produces documentaries, narrative films, music videos and commercials through his award-winning company Floor 1 Productions, with selected works playing in film festivals around the world and attracting over 10 million views online.
Most recently, his documentary Another Life To Live made its World Premiere at the Oscar-qualifying Hollyshorts Film Festival in Los Angeles and played at San Francisco International Film Festival in April 2022.
Adelson is the producer for the feature documentary, The Misty Experiment, which released on PBS in May. He worked on the film with his grandfather, Dean Echenberg, who was a flight surgeon for the Misty squadron during the Vietnam War.
