Jeri Reed is a retired history professor. She raised four sons in Chicago, two of them veterans of the Iraq War. Her elder son, Cody, took his own life after a nearly 20-year struggle with PTSD. She now resides in the Oklahoma City area and tries to raise awareness of the dangers of anti-psychotic drugs to treat PTSD.
