His career highlights include graduating Honor Graduate from Marine Corps Recruit Training, leading reconnaissance missions in Operation Desert Storm, receiving the Commandant’s trophy as the top national graduate from Marine Corps Officer Candidate School, serving as the military liaison to Afghanistan’s President Hamid Karzai, advising the Director of U.S. National Intelligence on Middle East policy issues.
