Josh White is a 20-year U.S. Air Force veteran, storyteller, and public speaker who has turned a life of adversity into a mission of connection and purpose. He is the founder and host of the award-winning HeroFront Podcast—recognized as the 2022 Veteran Podcast of the Year and featured in Forbes—where he shares raw, unfiltered stories from veterans, military leaders, and changemakers across the globe. Josh made history as the first active-duty Airman ever to receive official support from Headquarters Air Force for a privately owned podcast—an unprecedented move that broke traditional barriers around military media engagement. He also served as the official podcast host for the Air Force Sergeants Association for three years, further solidifying his role as a trusted voice within the military community.
Josh served in the U.S. Air Force from 2004 to 2025, retiring as a Master Sergeant. His career spanned multiple AFSCs and leadership roles—including Aerospace Ground Equipment Technician, Public Health Flight Chief, Executive Officer, COVID-19 Operations Lead, and Military Funeral Honors Program Manager for the state of Missouri. He supported combat operations on the Kadena flightline, led humanitarian medical missions in the Dominican Republic, and deployed alongside Joint Special Operations Command (JSOC) as both a Combat Medic and Public Affairs content creator during a joint mission with the Israeli Defense Forces. He was stationed at six bases, including two overseas assignments, and was named one of the Air Force’s 12 Outstanding Airmen of the Year in 2018.
Josh’s platform has reached over 200K downloads across 66 countries and amassed a 75K+ following with more than 20 million annual views. His storytelling work even earned him a personal interview with John Walsh as a veteran advisor for America’s Most Wanted. As a sought-after speaker, he was also selected as the keynote for the Florida Junior ROTC Drill Competition, where his message of resilience and leadership inspired over 150 cadets in person and reached 1.3 million viewers online. Now serving as a Prevention Specialist at Eglin AFB, Josh continues to educate and uplift by building connection, trust, and purpose across the force—bringing the inner-HERO to the FRONT-lines of life, one conversation at a time.
