Kamin Samuel, PhD, began her career as the U.S. Navy’s first African American female helicopter pilot, serving as a CH-46 pilot for over nine years. Her roles included Aviation Safety Officer, NATOPS and Maintenance Check Pilot, and CH-46 Flight Instructor. After transitioning to civilian life, Kamin struggled tremendously. She had to reinvent herself and later entered the corporate world as an entry level web developer where she excelled, rising to Vice President of Global Website Operations at a billion-dollar company.

Now a filmmaker and International Rapid Business Transformation Coach, Kamin helps clients clear their hidden barriers to success, empowering them to achieve what they desire. She is also an entrepreneur, author of several Amazon bestsellers, including Wealth Creation for Coaches co-written with Steve Chandler, a keynote speaker and leadership facilitator for numerous audiences.

Kamin’s documentary, “Courage to Thrive,” currently in post-production, tells the powerful stories of women, including her own and an American 22-year Army Veteran, and follows them as they rewrite and redefine wealth and success from the inside out to attain greater fulfillment and impact in the world. She is also the Executive Producer of the upcoming film, “The Strange.”

With a PhD in Positive Neuropsychology and multiple advanced degrees, including from Naval Postgraduate School, she assists individuals in taking practical action in the real world that gets dramatic results. She is a passionate philanthropist, serving on the boards of EduCare Foundation, and the USS Iowa - the National Museum of the Surface Navy.
