Liz Hartman moved to New Bern, North Carolina in 2019 and works as a Financial Advisor for Edward Jones. She is a Marine Corps Veteran and a graduate of Ole Miss (BA) and Penn State University (MA).
She serves as the Commander of American Legion Post 539. She also serves on the board of the New Bern Military Alliance and Allies for Cherry Point's Tomorrow. She is a member of the Defense Alliance of North Carolina, the Young Professionals of Craven County, and the Montford Point Marines.
Liz Hartman was elected as the Commander of American Legion Post 539 in June 2021, and is appointed to the following American Legion committees:
