Matt Disher leads Military Recruiting Programs at Cushman & Wakefield, a leading global commercial real estate services provider, and is a host of Beyond the Wire, a podcast where he talks with current and former military members about life in and out of the military, and discuss the journey from behind to beyond the wire.
Matt is a native of Cincinnati Ohio and a graduate of Northern Kentucky University, earning a Bachelor of Political Science, after having served in the US Marines as a combat engineer for 4 years.
Much of Matt’s post-military career has focused on building and leading corporate military recruitment programs, in small and large businesses. Matt’s programs have earned company accolades such as Military Friendly Top 100 awards multiple times, as well as other government and private enterprise awards.
In 2016 Matt was invited as a subject matter expert on hearing held by the House Subcommittee on Veterans Affairs where he shared best practices in post-military careerism. Currently, Matt is using his talents to help build military-transition programs via the Hiring our Heroes and DoD Skillbridge platforms.
