Natalie Schibell

Special guest

Natalie Schibell is a U.S. Navy veteran and former Lieutenant Commander in the Medical Service Corps, with 12 years of distinguished service advancing public health, medical readiness, and officer recruitment across the Navy and Marine Corps. Commissioned through the Navy’s Health Services Collegiate Program, she began her career as an Environmental Health Officer, overseeing health and safety operations at Submarine Base New London and safeguarding more than 30,000 service members and their families.

Motivated by a deep commitment to helping others find their purpose in uniform, Natalie transitioned into officer recruiting—where she emerged as one of the Navy’s most impactful talent leaders. She commissioned dozens of candidates into elite communities—including SEALs, Intelligence Officers, Cyber Warfare Engineers, and JAGs—and became nationally recognized for her ability to identify potential, build trust, and match mission-driven individuals with life-changing opportunities.

She was later recalled to serve at Navy Recruiting Command headquarters, where she advised senior leadership on enterprise-wide talent strategy and led the transformation of officer recruiting, with a focus on modernizing acquisition, streamlining operations, and strengthening training across the enterprise.

After hanging up the uniform, Natalie forged a second career in the private sector as a market strategist and healthcare analyst, helping Fortune 500 companies navigate the complexities of digital health transformation, real-world evidence, and value-based care.

She is a globally cited author, keynote speaker, and digital health content powerhouse, widely respected for her ability to turn complexity into clarity and drive actionable change at scale.

Natalie is the Founder and President of Mission to Commission, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to helping service members, veterans, and military families build careers with purpose. She also leads Commission to Transition, a strategic coaching firm delivering tailored career playbooks and high-impact advisory for veterans stepping into their next chapter.

She holds a Master of Public Health from New York Medical College, where she was inducted into the Delta Omega National Honorary Society for Public Health, a Bachelor of Science from The George Washington University, and a degree in Culinary Arts from The Culinary Institute of America.

Through every chapter—military and civilian—Natalie continues to lead with purpose, championing those who have served and those who continue to serve in every form of life and leadership.
