Rob Wilkins has a family history with military service dating back to his 6-times great-grandfather, Pate Wells Milner, who served as a private in the Army of North Carolina during the American Revolutionary War.
Rob himself served in the U.S. Air Force for 26 years, retiring in Jan 2009 as a Master Sergeant. He served in Germany, United Kingdom, Italy, Patrick Air Force Base and the Pentagon.
In 2018, he received a presidential appointment to serve on the President's Council on Sports, Fitness and Nutrition. He was reappointed in Jul 2022 under the Biden Administration.
Rob is a Paid-up for Life Member of The American Legion, was a 100 Miles for Hope ambassador and an original member of the Legion Wellness Advisory Panel.
