Steven Garza is a breakout star in the 2020 Sundance Film Festival Grand Jury prize-winning documentary “Boys State.”
When he attended Texas Boys State in 2018, Garza was a student at Mayde Creek High School in Katy ISD. After becoming the first member of his family to graduate from high school, Garza headed to Austin where he now attends the University of Texas.
Garza is continues his involvement with Texas Boys state as a counselor, and he continues to be actively involved in the political field, where he hopes to continue his career after graduation in 2023.
