THE INTERVIEW
After being severly injured while serving in Afghanistan in 2005, doctors gave Israel Del Toro a 20% chance of survival. Israel not only survived, but endured years of skin grafts, surgeries and brutal physical therapy and in 2010 became the first 100% disabled veteran to re-enlist in the Air Force.
Israel shares his incredible story of survivial and resilience, his role in the emergence of Air Force Wounded Warrior Program, the his experiences through adaptive sports
