Mike Erwin served in the Army from 1998 to 2015 and is the founder and executive director of Team Red, White and Blue.
He is responsible for the strategic direction of Team RWB, which includes administration of the board, program and service development, financial, tax, and fund-raising management---and making sure that the organization and its partnerships are aligned with Team RWB's mission.
Team RWB’s mission is to enrich the lives of America's veterans by connecting them to their community through physical and social activity.
Team Red, White & Blue is the antidote to the isolation and health challenges they face. They insist all veterans have the opportunity to reclaim what was most precious about their military service: an unwavering sense of belonging born of challenges that shows what each of us is capable of. Together, they strive to make tomorrow better. Together, they will increase mental and physical health. Together, they will find strength and success.
RWB chapters deliver local, consistent, and inclusive opportunities for veterans and the community to connect through physical and social activity. Volunteers host regular fitness activities, social gatherings, and community service events, and facilitate building strong local connections with members and organizations within the community.
