Chase Rauchle was a staff sergeant in the Nevada Army National Guard and served multiple tours as a gunner in Afghanistan. When he returned home, he struggled with PTSD, and despite his many attempts to seek help, the husband and father of two young children took his life on Sept. 9, 2019.
Chase’s father, Craig Rauchle wanted to help prevent other Nevada National Guard members from dying by suicide. He founded the Chase Rauchle PTSD (Prevent & Treat Stress & Depression) NOW! Foundation to address and reduce suicide among military servicemembers and veterans.
Steve Lenzi, is a U.S. Marine Corps veteran, member of Nevada American Legion Post 1 and close friend of the Rauchle family.
