Virginia Cruse is a licensed professional and nationally certified counselor specializing in military issues and combat-related trauma at the Military Counseling Center in San Antonio, Texas. She is a is a certified clinician dealing in cognitive processing therapy and prolonged exposure therapy and provides crisis intervention and evidence-based treatments for Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder, moral injury, depression, combat operational stress, and other diagnoses.

Virginia has more than 20 years of experience serving active-duty military, veterans, military retirees, and family members. She is a Certified Group Psychotherapist (CGP) and an active American Group Psychotherapy Association member.

Outside of her work with military counseling, Virginia is an Army Reserve officer, combat veteran, published researcher and author of The Soldier's Guide to PTSD: A No-Sh*t Guide to Reclaiming Your Life

Virginia is a Lifetime member of Post 145 Bristol, Tennessee, the same post her father joined after his military service.
